Ashley Anderson is a Health Education Specialist and RIBHHN Project Coordinator at Southwest District Health that works with local and national integrated behavioral health experts, primary care providers, behavioral health consultants, and Idaho public health districts to develop and implement a sustainable integration implementation program aimed to increase access to quality behavioral health services to meet the needs of Idaho’s rural and frontier communities.
Ashley is passionate about Idaho’s rural and frontier communities and believes that by integrating behavioral health and primary care can improve overall population health of rural communities that face both behavioral health provider and primary care provider shortages.
Ashley has worked on the Rural Integrated Behavioral Health Hub Network (“RIBHHN”) HRSA Outreach Grant, as the lead public health district convener of the Idaho Integrated Behavioral Health Network (“IIBHN”), the Idaho Integrated Behavioral Health Network Annual conference coordinator, assisting in the development of a network of local technical assistance resources for behavioral health integration as well as a workforce development infrastructure.
Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Boise State University.
